Huh?? Read again. They're haulin' mail through the trees. You're Air mail.

7lbs boost on av gas for only 205hp? Blown engine at 150 miles? Rods gone on stockers in 1500kms? Lucky to get 4000kms? Made it to 600 miles..touch wood??? That's ugly! You're sled's going to still be running strong with 30,000kms on it.

Your sled can lose weight, you can put in Wiseco low comp. pistons and run pump fuel, but you can't change ugly! (....imagine lifting a dead xm out of a tree hole, on the side of a mountain...in 23 feet of snow. It doesn't matter how light and nimble the sled is, I'm a pretty big guy and I couldn't even drag the track out of there, let alone the track attached to a dead sled.)

....7lbs boost does not feel about the same as 21lbs boost and 315hp. If you haven't already done so...put on a 174" Camoplast. You'll be able to drag an xm through the trees with your sled. ----Okay, maybe I'm exagerating a bit. ?? Nope. You will be able to drag an xm along behind you.

Wow...look at that, both you and the Doo guys are gonna slam me down now! And I deserve it. There's no doubt...I've seen some pretty impressive nimbleness from the TSS xm'ers and the Aerocharger Pro Rmk guys, but you're running a pretty capable platform too.

P.S. You're avatar picture is lying on it's side, it needs to be rotated 90 degrees....on every 315hp Nytro that I've seen, the skis are pointing up not down.

EZDUZZIT.

Hahaha! No slamming from me it's just the Internet. No I couldn't run 21psi on pump fuel with low comp pistons ever lol. I already have gas ported piston, ARP studs and Carrillo rods. My Motor is set up well. I know my sled is very capable, it blows most others completely out of the water. The ground speed I can carry up hill is amazing. Yes I could spend 10g's on a light weight chromoly chassis, but after that ill have 40g's into a sled that would only sell on today's market for 12. I have weighed many options and have not decided yet. Yes the Yamaha motor will go 30 000 kms I know that. Just getting tired of riding a fat hippo lol.
Ps. Changed my avatar pic for ya lol
Cheers!

What's your turbo setup EZ? Boost? Yea wish I was riding right now... Last days off I crashed hard and broke some ribs and separated the cartilage from a few too. Booooo! Never riding boost without my Tekvest again! :p

Nice Video Chad! Nice meeting you at the cabin in Fernie on your way back from Castlegar. I was with Doug Dean and I was on the Black M1000 first thing in the morning at the cabin. At 8:16 mark in the video looked a little freaky! LOL Shaun

Well my take on it is, snowmobiling consists of tinkering, riding, tinkering, riding and on and on till the snows gone...then its just tinkering wishing for snow lol. But then again I came off a 95 580 cat, and now have a 06 summit ( both bought used). From what ive read it seems like even with stock brand new you have to do your fair share of tinkering.
