well i have no plans to put it in the parade or make it a trailer queen, so it better walk the walk...

anyone know of a good boost controller, went threw two of the cheap manuel boost controllers and am now looking at the turbosmart controller, it seams the vibration does them in quickly

here are a picture of the controllers that cratered so far in short order

well took the y pipe off for ceramic coating and found a crack along the weld, time for a new one ....

pulled motor out and was shocked how heavy the injectors are, i can see where the extra 12 pounds comes from on the etec... gutted the throttle body heater fittings and hose, gutted fittings and hose off of head for overflow tank, gutted oil injection fittings and hoses on raves, hoses to case bearings, removes oil tank and oil pump

happy with the tdr reeds, with over 1000 miles on them and they look like new

those few mods cleaned up the engine compartment and droped over 12lbs, and now i hope to be able to run a shorter charge tube where the tank was

will be sending out the jugs for porting, and look into throttle body porting

well talking with keven he is finishing up with chassie and tank and will be installing the rolled avid case and footrails, and some bulkhead parts, hope to have it after the saskatoon show, brad at aero is finished with porting and new snow/air box, motor is taking on some porting and fresh pistons, throttle bodys are sent away for taper borring

avid made a sweet set of 9 tooth drivers and we are hoping they will have enought clearence needed, ... lighted up the front skis and spindles some, and looking for a set of fox floats for the front shocks if anyone has any 16.5inch

well i had broke my jaw 5 weeks ago and its been a real struggle to say the least, but as of yesterday i am free of wires once again, but after eating threw a straw over a month i have put my body htrew a serious diet as well... scaled showed a loss of 24lbs... now to keep it off

all parts robed off of stock chassie, will leave and replace most parts that are riveted on stock chassie and replace them with new parts on CF chassie, and new rivets... and make it a easyier sale to get rid off stock chassie

was blown away how heavy the stock wiring harness and computer were, i think brp could of done a better job there, also the stock headlight and gauge cluster are 6lbs, seams alot... the injectors on the top of the head are also very heavy

will be looking for a thermostat delete and clean some more of the hoses up, will grab pitures soon

here are some pictures of the teardown, and some weights

wiring harness over 8lbs..., stock skid 53 lbs with scratchers, headlights and gauge cluster 6lbs, front kyb shocks 3.8lbs, 10inch riser with bars and all controls....7.5lbs, brake rotor 2.1lbs...brake caliper and pads, 2.4lbs, front skis 5lbs each... hoping to lessen the weight of above parts

will be swaping over to titanium fasteners for the skids, skis and some of the engine and turbo

hope to get CF chassie tommorow to start the rebuild

How much does the bare chassis weigh? Be curious to compare the wieght on this and the fuel tank to double check thier wieght loss claims. In my experience aftermarket companies are on crack when it comes to making these claims. Not saying C3 will be off........just curious to see if you get the same numbers.

here are a few more pictures of the new parts and peices as i start the build, still waiting on billet wheels, billet thermostat housing and new style snow/air box. mcb pistons and boost controller to show up

9 tooth drivers look sweet and hope they have the need room with the rolled case, put them on a diet... the other drivers are 7 tooth to compare too

well received the cf chassie late sunday, and worked on it the last few days, lots of great improvemnts over stock chassie, love the tank and footrests...really gotta give c3 credit, fit and finish so far has been perfect.... have also found the the skids, divers and iceage rails to be of the same quality, you can see their pride in their products....

using titanuim fasteners on the skids, and will order more for remainder of items

installed larger avid drivers and still had over 1/2inch clearence to top of tunnel, attack angle looks real shallow, still waiting on billet wheels, but front and rear skids fit well

still waiting on new airbox, but sounds like its on delevery and motor should be back by the weekestarted working on wiring harness cleanup, stock harness and some fuel lines and ecm weighted over
16lbs... just insane 006 (1).jpg

few more pictures of the build
