So I just finished rebuilding my 500 Summit last year because the water pump and rotary valve went, (and the pistons had about 12000km on them). Ran fine for the little I used it last year and just ran it the other day and it croaked! The oil was the only thing that looked wrong! Its a mercy blue/green and when the engine was hot the oil level was rising and overflowing! Need a little help!!! Won't start, still turns over fine, still have compression!

Did you put new water and oil seals on the rotary shaft behind the water pump?
