My uncle has an old Mach 1 likely an 89, and he's finding with the current snow conditions in Peace River he's getting stuck LOTS.....

wants to put a paddle track on, any idea what size he can go to with minimal effort?

My dad has an '89 Formula MX (Nearly the same as the Mach-1 chassis-wise) and he said the biggest paddles he ever saw someone run on those is 1"

Doesn't sound like much but 1" is a huge improvement over the belt-sander it probably has now!!

1" Camoplast Hacksaw track would be a huge improvement for sure..... I'm sure somehow I'll end up having to do the swap too.....

Thanks Old Soul!

Hey no sweat.

We swapped a 1" into my cousins EXT from the worn-out track he had (hardly a 1/2" haha) and the difference was drastic. First swap I ever did, my uncle has done a few, and it wasn't hard at all. Doing it by yourself is do-able but having a buddy (or your dad??) will make it way faster.

I love those old PRS chassis sleds, grew up with dad's (remember picking it up with him new, I was 4-5 years old). They called the Mach's "Mach One Tonnes" haha. Dad wants me to mod his Formula, as many newer skids swap in with little work and it'd be a fun project.

well its not an 89, its a 79 but he claims it says mach 1 on it. He went and bought a different sled 96 Mountain Max 600, and got a Wide Track Everest given to him as well. Pretty sure he's completely forgotten about this project

79 would be a blizzard likely. Don't think your getting a 1 inch on one of those sleds
