So we had a cylinder that had some visible scoring when I checked the reeds. Pulled apart the engine, the pots have less then .002" of taper in them but I am not sure how to tell if the pots are hone able , had one tech tell me that they may have a supper hard coating that is only a couple of thou thick. Don't remember the technical name for the coating. The pot with the scoring in it the groves are defiantly deeper then a couple on thou. Should they be hone able? Or do they need to be sent out to be replated? Anyway to tell the difference?
