Was looking at upgrading my rear shocks to a set of KYB 40's. Any feedback would be good, especially compared to a aftermarket company.

I think they are one of the best shocks around, especially with enzo or equivalent valving done

thanks. Calling Enzo after this one. 175 turbski catching air as usual, looks better in the video we got!

I don’t know much about shocks but the freeride seems to take the whooped out trail waaaay better then others I ride with. Take that for what it’s worth.

fronts are soft yet never bottom out, rear is the same, soft but doesnt lift tooo much.

Currently on a 2021 free ride turbo. This is my third free ride. I don’t mind a little bit extra heavier Sled if it rides as good as a free ride does.

Just saw the newer RS600 are running a KYB with a 46mm shock body and has the good clicker valves with High/low compression and rebound,,,kashima coating
KYB C-46 shock. They look sick. wonder if they'd fit on a mountain sled...

Did I hear right on the boondocker DS running KYB46 fronts too?

Is that the Linx? The ones Ive seen had the non resi 36mm kahsima coated front shocks like the 2020 experts had.

But that would be cool if they do though! Im not too familiar with the linx line up.

I did some looking and you can get the c-46's on the Lynx RAVE its called.(IN Canada, might be other options over seas?) 36mm ones on the Boondocker.

The RAVE looks pretty sick, over 20g and no turbo. Wicked suspension though! 137 track (not really a mountain sled, but Id ride it on a mountain)

Or you could just buy the shocks. 850$ a piece +tax.

46mm shock bodies on the front would seem excessive for your average joe.

unless you huck like a billy goat down the mtn!

Forsur.I like jumps, but the kyb 40mm work pretty good for me, but I'd rock the 46s though.

Friend of mine breaks the 40s so the 46s will be great for guys like that.
