Just wondering who’s rode the two and how much difference there is. Seems to be more 175’s left over the 165. I have a 165 3” right now and possibly thinking of buying a new machine thx

I ride a 175 now and really like the better floatation. I had a 163 and it was more playful. Through the trees, I go every where everyone else that I ride with goes. To each their own and I'm sure there will people that will disagree with me but ........oh well.

Ride 163/165 for 14 years. Switched to a 175... not looking back on that move. It is only another 4”, short tunnel setups keep it just as playful for 90% of the riding community. I still do all the same maneuver as i did before. With more control I have a ton of left over energy for 2 or 3 day runs now. A lot less stucks, confidence is way through the roof. Plus you want to find the pow, it’s where the 175 hangs in the next bowl short tracks can’t reach!

if your someone throwing whips, big hits or extreme bow ties all day you should consider a 154.

I jumped from 154 to a 175. I am 185lbs without gear and this sled is effortless to ride with snow. Even on hard pack a guy can throw it on edge and turn it around no problem. Tons of power, I had to suck up the limiter strap. Love that it is more forgiving and lets you take your time a little more when your picking your way around. If you buy one you wont be disappointed. On deep days I still get stuck a ton!

Just switched to a 174 this year. Previously rode 155 and 163. Not looking back. I’m not 20 anymore and I enjoy the extra time the longer sled gives me in the trees to think a little. To each their own but I’m really happy with the new sled.

Have had the 154-175 over the years, each size up takes a little more driver finesse and strength.. the most flickable sled is by far the shorter one and there is snow conditions and riders I been with that I wish I still had one in the stable and still might make that happen..

the 154 remember being the trencher of trenches and wot your best Freind, when first rides on 165 3 inch it was a noticeable difference in sled not being as flickable but did give more predictable feel, fun factor was dropped some over 154 over all but less trenches and fit the 155 hp well

when finally going to a 174/175 very forgiving track, allows more time to think a line, and less trench for others, hp makes a huge diff.. stock hp felt like a plow tractor where a rubber band on throttle was mentioned a few times.. but if you have good track speed 55mph plus this is the track to have.. fun usually starts after the stockers are turning down hill and everything is happening so much faster.. it’s like running a fast race car to a ... steep and deep has been what i look for, rest is just a average pull, pushed one harder, and don’t think I would go back less foe majority of my style to ride, but big snow conditions is essential for best day to happen
