The stock front skid shock measures about 15” from centre to centre and I was thinking of changing to a 16” centre to centre shock. Hoping to keep some of my ski pressure off. Has anyone done this or something similar?

I know it was talked about in your other post and you weren't in favour but moving the skid back and down would offer better attack angle than just dropping the front of the skid down. Doo already has the steepest attack angle of the bunch and this is going to amplify that.

The reason I don’t want to is because I’ll be changing that with different drivers and rails so it’ll be less aggressive but with my taller spindles I’m thinking that my ski pressure will be worse

Which rails are you going to try? different angle at the front with an antistab?

i don't agree... the rear suspension on a T3 and G4 is basically the same. the rail angle will be different but they utilize the same shock lengths and swing arm assemblies. you will not achieve your results of less attack angle.

bigger drivers will help. moving the rail back will also help, or if the arc is futher back than a g4

You are right the suspension is basically the same. The T3 rails are slightly different but won’t affect the attack angle very much. I’m not looking for less attack angle, I’m looking for less ski pressure. Wouldn’t larger drivers make the track rub?

no most can go up 1 driver side without problems.
