Reaching out if there’s anyone that’s done this what’s all required. Is expert 165 bumper direct bolt on for a 154 sp? Got flap and bumper and light housing all need to be replaced so thinking about putting on the expert flap. Thanks

I honestly don’t know but I’ve ordered all the parts and I’ll let you know. You’d have to change the rear tunnel brace and I’m not using the stock bumper

Yeah it’ll definitely save you some cash. I just went with the rear brace cause Im putting a longer skid in but you can probably get away with the stock if you aren’t

Ya was thinking I may as well do the rear brace while I’m at it also because I’ve definitely thought of spending the coin and putting the 165 rails and track for when I’m in the mountains. Here in Manitoba don’t really need the 165 but I’ve never felt like a 154 is to long but I never ride trails only riverbanks and ditch banging.

The part at the end of the tunnel is different as well, you need to change this as you wont have anywhere to fasten the new flap to. They were backordered last season so I zip-tied mine on and it lasted all season.

Yeah that’s where I always ride. I found my 154” with 2.5” paddles just isn’t enough. My XM 163 could still climb higher. Yeah I loved my 146 XP for ditch banging, my Gen4 154 feels the same as it

Yeah I order that brace too. So what your saying is the the expert flap absolutely won’t work with the original brace?

This is the brace/part we’re all talking about?

Ah ya I’ve been looking the part# is same on 154/165 expert but diagram is different obviously not updated. $57 is not bad for the bracket otherwise I’d try and fab something up myself. Been looking at your ac shock/torsion delete for the summit there and looks like something I’d be stoked to do.

Yeah I was going to make one out of carbon but figured this was easier. Let me know and I’ll send a pm with the info

And the rear bumper off a 165 expert should be direct bolt on for my 2020 154sp? Part #518331206. I’m not against drilling holes to make bolts line up but want it to be in the correct position to enable using the snow flap extension when riding in icy conditions.

It will. It’s just a little taller so it’s not in the way
