Going to a 165, keeping the same tunnel length..., have the rails and track, Thanks Caper.

Coating the rails to black , a couple of questions, mostly about snow flap:

Think I can just use removable flap, and just flipping it outwards? I was going to keep the mounting tab if it clears, Hope it's enough to get some throw.

Anyone have this done?

I noticed that the extension flap for the experts aren't available.. Are they?

I just did the same to my 15XM went from 154-163. All I did was cut the flap to about 1/3 it’s original length, with scratchers down no issues.

I’m going to do something similar this summer. I was going to make my own “expert” flap and vacuum form it or make it out of carbon. The stock flap cut may still hit the track when its fully compressed

This was how mine finished up, only used it once since the swap but I didn’t have any trouble with the flap.
