So I've had my kill switches flipped upside down and years but every once in a while they get water in them and freeze and no longer work, which is a pita.

Considering getting a munster one, but I don't really use it anyway. Can I just either unplug the killswitch from the harness or take the wires and tire then together and delete the switch? Or is there more to it?

Thanks

I always used an O ring under the kill switch to stop accidental shutdown while keeping the switch useable. Essentially makes it a momentary switch for damn near free.

Just leave it in the stock position and wrap a few O-rings or one of the ol lady's hair elastics around it to turn it into a momentary switch. No freezing issues and no accidental shutoffs from hitting it with your chest.

Yeah it snaps back on as long as you didn't mangle the white part too bad with the leatherman pulling it back up. Doo doesn't sell the button though, only the whole assembly.

I have seen lots of guys just put a small screw in be done.
Gives you something to grab.....

I actually got warranty on my 2016 Doo.
I did have the Red cap in hand and told them it fell off when I pulled it out.

Gibsons can atest to this.
He was suprised as hell that we found it ib all the deep snow. LOL
