I have heard the most appreciated changes are the low skinny bars and the new snowflap/tunnel mods to clear the snow

Raptor is now selling a triple rate spring set for the G4. $375 US for a full set on their website. Pretty cheap upgrade imo. Not sure if I would spend the money on a full set of Raptors again.

I've been riding the new expert for the last 2 days and am not that impressed with the suspension, i hopped on another expert with full fox suspension as well today and the difference is night and day the overall handling is a huge improvement over the stock expert, I would save your money buy an SP and put some good shocks on it. I rode a 2018 g4 all last yr and after about 6 rides i put a full set of fox coil overs on it and it was amazing and it was a noticable improvement even in the deep snow and this was the same opinion by other G4 owners that rode my machine with the fox shocks on.

10x better? think you might be exaggerating a bit haha

I do think the expert is the sled to beat right now and if you don't like the shocks, yeah go spend 4g for some better ones.

tell me that i am wrong after you ride it, anyone who has one and has spent some time on it will tell you the same, it is not my job to over pump a product, it just seems many don't beleive me until they ride it then they say it is even better. Same every time we change something.

I believe you it's better Dave. I know a few people that have them. Even a couple that work for skidoo...

10x better is a lot though.

I'd say a g4 is 10x better than a ZX chassis.

is going from to an expert from an sp like going from a zx to a g4?

I'd say maybe 25% better at best. 50% better would be huge.

or is it legit 1000% better than a 19 g4 in your opinion?

if so that's pretty good haha

just given you a hard time.

keep up the good work, wish I had your job!

Bought a 19 sp and swapped everything out for a elkas, stage 4’s up front with a 3 in the center and a 4 on the rear along with there dual conversion kit. Very impressed so far, a buddy has a new kmod set up that we’re looking forward to comparing

Look forward to hearing your results after refining suspension settings on both!

Very similar to the KYB pro 40 shock but with a slightly different tune. Also the Kashima coating on the damper tube is harder and has less stiction and this translate in better small bump sensivity.
Fox has been using this coating on mountain bike suspension for many year now and proven smoother/stronger.
