For those that stayed on topic regarding belts thank you.

Ya sorry for the diversion. I might have something to add. I ran Dayco and Carlisle belts in the past. I found them to last okay but when they let go it was a complete explosion rather than just pulling strings. One even destroyed a foot well and it hurt my foot. This was on Polaris so not sure if their belts for Doo are built the same? Anyway there is more to think about than just lifespan, how they fail is important too as damage caused can be expensive or dangerous in some cases.

I had a gates carbon come apart on a doo and it was messier and more dramatic than the doo belts I've popped. Definitely more pieces and that carbon gets everywhere. Doo belt usually just pops the top with fewer pieces and lots of fuzz.
