Is there something a person can do to fix the tie rod boot from letting hella snow in the engine bay ? The plastic collar and ziptie is bushleague - the collar and ziptie end up at the tie rod end at the spindle and the boot is sucked in and the hood underside holds all kinds of water and the y-pipe looks like it's about to rust right through - the xm tie rod design is a bit better IMO

snow is also getting in around the seams of the hood, my pipe looks 25yrs old covered in rust. The xm was a powder sled, the G4 goes good but needs some good sealing up. So fed up I switched brands.
