Going to get my rails powder coated on my G4 (tmotion). Been a while since I’ve taken a skid out of a machine (prob 2012). Any helpful advice or tricks that anyone has learned and wouldn’t mind sharing in regards to dropping it out, installing it back in, and especially disassembling the skid itself to isolate the rails would be appreciated. Looks pretty straight forward, but thought it wouldn’t hurt to ask. Thanks

if you can get a winch from the ceiling of your garage to lift the back up it saves a lot of time tried doing it by laying it on its side and it sucks you will be frustrated with the bolts in the cross members try using a impact just to loosen them

GeT a longer bolt and a jam nut take 1 side out. Put bolt and jam nut in tighten the. Sh!t out of the jam nut Losses the other side will have Togo back and forth a few times
when you put it back together use lock tite, put all the nuts facing 1 side for easy inspection
drill and tap the drain holes in the shafts that don’t have grease nipples and put them in
check all bearings and add grease. Most were dry on my 18
