I like that can doo attitude.. If there are performance gains to be had from stock, It's nice to see that you're in Edmonton. I will finally have one in my garage to dissect properly..

Yep, attitude makes the difference for sure.

There is gains to be had just by a simple clutching change. The stock helix is all wrong for that engine, Ben will get you fixed up.

Thought this thread was about the Jaws Pipe... not a clutch biatch fest...

...back on topic, did anyone run one last winter? Any sizable gains? Is the juice worth the squueze?

Yep, that was a total hijack. I apologize on Caper11’s and Dragonweld’s behalf. They do that chit all the time.

Thread is about the jaws pipe on the 850 doo, and how to set it up is part of it.

In an earlier post, you stated the stock helix was part of the problem... what angle of the dangle do you recommend?

Would you mind to post a pic of the domes and measure the squish also? Do you want to sell your stock head?
Not interested in selling the stock head yet.

Thx Niner Niner. Head cover is very pretty. Squish band is wide-ish which will could help for low/mid range. The pipe makes power up high so the combo might work good. Squish clearance might be a little big. It looks like .040-.050” and the piston/deck clearance is about .025” so total squish could be .065-.075 which is quite conservative.
I like to cut Singh grooves in all my heads for crazy low/mid improvement.
Remember the power is same as stock at 7900 but 15hp and 6ft/lb tq more at 8400rpm. The power is gonna come at higher rpm.
You prolly knew that but I like to hear myself talk. Haha

You can run jaws, mbrp and thing cooker cans if you still have stock head. I’ve used all 3 now with this pile and no issues with either of those cans.
