2020 expert changes vs 2019 sum x

Call a dealer regarding the changes. Wanted to confirm actual changes but wasn't given a confident answer. There r different brp part #'s from 19 to 20 as well. Was looking to update my 19 sum x front suspension to that of the 20 expert. Spindle and ski rubber changes is what I'm interested in.
Can anyone confirm

I'm interested in the thin bars. are they 7/8" or smaller than that? no real dimensions talked about except for "2mm thinner"

7/8" bars that are 2mm thinner at the grips. Not sure what that works out by the time you do the conversion.

Looking at a vid comparing the new spindle to the 19 spindle, with the explanation that was given the Munster ski bushing savers do the exact same thing.

On the prototype tour, a rep told me something similar. "Put the extra rubbers and savers, on your '19 you'll be fine...." so I'm not sure if the spindle changes much in geometry or just works with the new ski to limit the travel. Loved the feel of the thin bars though

So looking over the expert, the front shocks and springs are different and I’m not talking about the color of the body. Looks like to me this sleds has a enzo inspired setup in it, front and rear.

Seems like a waste of money for what? Shorted tunnel .bold new graphics lol . How about a new skid or a gauge.

Haha very true. I just dont see the hype of the expert but theres allways next year.

yeah it's basically just upgraded shocks and a chopped tunnel.

and a few other minor upgrades.

Can’t tell you how many times I’ve said “gawd, can’t they just put some 2mm skinnier grips on these things??!!”
Jeez. Now what? Klim will start making palmless gloves for the “expert only” crowd?

You can hold on to a skinny bar way tighter and for longer. Have you ever tried a dumbbell with and then without a “fat grip”? you lose tons of grip strength on the “fat grip” making your smaller dumbbells useable again and builds forearm strength. Especially now that you’re using a finger on your brake lever more and a thumb to throttle

But if you have big hands could you not hold onto a larger bar? I have always put bigger diameter grips on as they fit my hands better. But maybe my hands are wrong?

Did Doo really need to come up with another model (expert)? Couldn't they could have just made all these improvements to the X and FR. None of this stuff adds any cost to the sled. And I can't see how any of these changes make the ride worse for someone who doesn't consider them selves an expert. Why come up with an intelligent way to improve your offering for FREE and not use it on everything you sell. I can't think of another manufacturer that has done that. Like who are you helping? If you want to charge $250 more for every sled, go for it. The 'cheap' model already costs, what, $16500 OTD? Instead they're charging $850 to 20-40% of what they sell for changes the cost them 0.

That’s what marketing is for. And the dootards fell for it. Anyone who would have done a little research would have just made these changes to a ‘19 and been farther ahead.

don't think it's worth it, dont get it pretty simple.

and maybe not everyone wants a shorty tunnel?


too bad they didn't put it on the freeride though.
