How much weight did you have to add once you installed the head?
Not sure exactly but I added three washers to my existing weights which totalled 6 gr extra but still having to run on #2 clicker to keep it @8000 so still could use a bit more

So roughly 8gr if you wanted to be on clicker 3 if i am understanding this correct? If so. That seems like it must have gave you pretty good gains for HP.

There's lots of 872 that kill 850 g 4 lol

I love my xm and am not sold on the 8****ty
the 850 is a great motor, and the chassis is better then the xm... its the clutching that its lacking. A p-85 and team secondary, and tadaaaaaa you got a serious weapon

I your looking to throw money away than replacing the clutches is a good start IMO, nothing wrong with the stock clutches, its just the parts installed in them.

A good running 872 will beat a setup 850. 927 with a jaws pipe is a different ball park All together.

Yeah its an 872 174 t3 and it seems to work! The chassis seems a little flat and not as wide of power band but I'm use to riding my G4 wobble chassis

Figured I’d bring this page back to the top seeing as The Jaws pipe page is so popular too.. any updates from those that ran the head last year?

On powder freaks Facebook page he posted some dyno runs the other day, impressive numbers all stock timing.
stock 167
Powder freaks head 177
PF HEAD, jaws pipe 190

Pretty much has me convinced to sell my t3 and update to a 850.
