Did many people run high compression heads on the etec with good results? Ive never heard of anyone. I ran an engine tech 14:1 head on my 2010 xp and it was an unbelievable difference.

I ran a 13.5:1 head on my 09 and wow that sled pulled! The best bang for the buck was the power valve mod. Anyone do this to the 850? It was awesome on my ptek.

There are dyno numbers on the powderfreaks FB page. I believe both from NPP dyno as well as his own dyno.

Price per hp seemed reasonable I think they were $600 or $650 at sled show the dyno numbers were 9-17hp if I remember right depending on throttle range and even tho he had heads for multiple sleds only the skidoo 850 had the higher numbers if it wasn’t somewhat legitimate why claim lower hp numbers for your other heads? I was bsing with him at the show didn’t seem like a guy trying to push a garbage product. I bought two billet aluminum gas caps as I thought they were awesome.

I don’t know him if his product and I’m not saying he’s lying. Maybe he found a magical way to get these gains? I’ve built a lot of engines and work with a lot of great engine builders from all over and nobody has ever had gains like this from just adding a head. Time will tell as I’m sure some other builders will be getting their hands on this to see what it’s all about. If in fact it is legit, anyone with a 850 would be silly not to purchase one.

You had the same experience I did. Very nice guy and easy to talk to. I'm not trying to call him out on his numbers, hope it didn't come across that way, but figure out if this is legit. I've worked and modded a number of Rotax's in the past and haven't seen gains like this from a head before. If it's legit, he's got a new customer.
