Not a lot of difference from any of the sleds regarding warranty Jeffa.
Track/running board problems are normally rider abuse with getting too friendly with rocks and stumps. Early season riding, with low coverage, is hard on all sleds.

Sorry to high jack your post... but I also been looking at 17's, guys on S&M say there under 8g but ive yet to find one for under $9,500 without 4,000kms on it. There is two in Edmonton area that have 1 year warranty left and both 165's for around 10.... Ferniesnow your experience and comments sure did make me feel better about looking at them...
Deaner's XM was the sled to buy but cash flow wasn't there yet for me. Dave if and when ya do buy...please share if your grinning or frowning. so far my budget is only around 8. I hope to join this G4 doolaid cult too.

theres a 17x 154 with 4000k in calgary for sale for 8500. almost there. keep bashing these sleds boys, keep driving down the prices. as soon as i can score 1 for 7k im in. motor comes out new top end goes in and chassis updates while out, then aerocharger kit that sitting in the corner goes on and yeehaw a beauty sled for under 8k.

Buy a XM or T3, less disappointment when it sits there and you realize you can’t get out as much as you think you will. I’m thinking of jumping back in as well, Joe is just about ready.

Never rode a XM before but rented a G4 last year and had a boner for two whole days, without taken a blue pill! I'm on a XP now so either is a major upgrade. Maybe you should share this g4 154" 8G kijiji ad so we can see, hmmmm.

Just remember, a 154" isn't a 165" and lack of performance in the deep mountain snow is noticeable. The 154's work well on the prairies. But then again, I know guys who swear by their 146's in the mountains.....?????

That's no help Doug haha jk. would you advise staying away from a 154? if only getting into the steep N deep 4-5 times a year.

Im looking for a cheap 154 to turbo to compliment my 175. the last half of the season was boring on the canoe. when the snow gets low gotta shrink the skid a bit.
