Here’s a weird one, was out in Renshaw Wednesday and sled was runnin like crap, finally went into limp mode and died, figured I blew it up, just my luck lol. Turns out I lost the bolt that holds the detonation, or knock sensor whatever you prefer, to the head. Could not find this bolt anywhere rolling around in the engine bay or under the motor, still haven’t found it after tearing it apart at home. Luckily I had my sat phone and was able to call dealer, they went through every bolt in the sled on the parts breakdown and we decided to use one of the Allen head cap screws from the y-pipe flange, barely got it in 3 threads but got me back to the truck . IMG_1337.jpg Wondering if anyone has ever seen this before, dealer had worked on it in the spring but claiming to have not touched said bolt. I guess at the very least let this be a warning to others, maybe check the bolt circled in Red in the pic, torque spec is 18ftlbs, if you do lose one or want to carry a spare it is an M8x35.

Did the dealer perform the updates on your sled? The motor lift eyelet screws in place of the det sensor when lifting out the motor from the chassis. They could of lifted the motor up this way to install the pot shims

I’m sure the dealer had it out and didn’t torque it back up but still doesn’t explain where the hell it went
