Looking for peoples feedback who actually used these last winter as I have some small holes in my stock vents from branches. Should I go stock again or heavy duty? Someone commented earlier about starving the sled for air, is that only an issue for a turbo?
I have used them on 3 G4's and no issues. It seemed like the stock filters had holes quite easily and the heavy duty stood up well. We haven't put a hole in the heavy duties yet but it can happen no doubt.

the heavy duty ones on the etec tend to freeze a layer of ice between the two screens not sure about the 850
might be best to put on after opening up the stock ones or keep an eye on them

Love these 8fitty Doo threads, the controversy is always over the top... Doo loyalists canabalizing each other all the time. No sticking up for the brand. And Norona is like the punching bag for the 850... Poor guy, he never designed the thing and is just trying to help... Read the other brand threads, and their riders don't sh#t on the product near as bad...
Full disclosure: I sold my XM snow checked an Alpha Cat.... But these G4 threads never fail to deliver the entertainment.
Might be back on Doo one day, kinda why I stay up to date on how the G4's are doing.
Keep up the fight Norona, you got really thick skin, or drink alot to cope with these guys....

X2 for Norona. Put out to the wolves on Social media and on the hill while the CEO's eat poutine in comfort and warmth. The guy needs a medal.

X2.

It was the same craziness with the Isoflex which took literally years to weed out the experts until they changed camps to Arctic Cat and Polaris. I hope for a faster change this time around because it's nothing good for the sport.
