How did the cooker can turn out on the G4. Had one on my previous sleds & I would like to put one on my Freeride. Fit looks real tight. My old one is for sale. Will fit most 800 etecs. If you like HOT food on hiil.

The plates in the can that the pot slides between may require some grinding, they are dangerously close to the side panel and even with reflective tape my plastic got melted a bit. Only took me 5 mins with a zip cut to shave a half inch off that leading corner on the side panel side and no issues since. Fit to factory mounts is excellent, felt no loss in power as to be expected with any well made can. I will warn you it is significantly louder than the 800 version, but small price to pay for hot perogies and sausage

Works good. Get some heat reflective tape and put it around everything near the can. Side panel is a bit tight to close but works.

Same as above.. Reflective tape on all couple sides, panels on the outside, on the inside i wrapped the wire looms 360, wrap the speedo plug and did a couple pieces on the cover.

I didn't find it any louder. In fact, I think it is quieter. I remember Al mentioning that this version is the quietest of theThing cooker cans.

I just left the foil covered foam on the right hand panel and there was no problem with melting. As mentioned above, I wrapped the wires and made a couple of baffles that I put foil tape on. If you look to the left of the insulated elbow, you can see the baffle. I melted the inner plastics on my 2015 T3's rewind, so I now cover the outside of that as well.

They sure cook quick now.
