After a season on these did anyone find setups that worked noticeably better? Was thinking of getting a Roosterbuilt kit, but with the exchange these days it gets pretty pricey by the time its here. Talked to another member that ran the stiffer secondary spring with a shockwave helix, and more weight in the primary. Was talking to Baker and thats exactly what he does too. Both said it was a huge improvement. Leaning this direction because I already have the shockwave.

Can you add weight to the stock primary? Im not familiar with this new clutch. Or could a guy just fine tune RPM with the shockwave (again, Ive never used one). Any idea what spring rates and helix angles the "kit" guys are using?

I just bought the rooster kit. They are using the 039 secondary spring (stiffer) and softer primary (150-250 spring) and the RB2 helix (mfg by dalton) and they include a weight kit. Sounds like you will run less weight in the primary than w/ stock spring. I'm going to give it a try w/ the ZRP tailstander weights.

Dont forget that the RB2 helix is a multi angle and that will affect the primary spring choice as well as weight.

How does a guy add weight to the primary? Do you have to buy all of the special tools to work on this new clutch, or can you get away with makeshift stuff like on the tra?

You can build, but in my experience, spending the money on the tools has been well worth it. I prefer the CT tools over the BRP ones, plus they are cheaper to boot.

Seems to be a number of guys that think they can improve a lot by going to a better high elevation ramp.
