where can a guy get motor mount shims for the 850? I had no issues with my belts (or anything else for that matter) on my 17 last season but an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure...or something like that.

Call Darryl at Racers Edge in Calgary. He was building them last year. 1-403-254-8686

Its the best way to add weight to the pDrive. Adding weight with setscrews to the tip of the ramp/flyweight is better than adding trim weight to the heal of the ramp.

BRP mini recall should handle this for you through your dealer as well as the 21/53 gear change as per BRP press release.;)

Heres the adjustable fly weights we are using in our clutch kit. Weight can be placed at the heel, centre and tip of the weight which covers tuning everything from stock naturally aspirated sleds, to big bores, to turbos. Ramp profile is also significantly changed from stock and will have a huge affect on how the p drive shifts.

I apologize for the image, if some more computer literate person wants to give that image a quarter turn to the right that would be great lol.

Your dealer should be calling you. It's a warranty recall by BRP

Straightline Performance. Basically took what they had as a kit, our knowledge of what worked in the past with brp's product, tested, tuned, made some significant changes and now have our own kit using spi components.

Straightline Performance Inc. = SPI

Starting Line Products = SLP (possibly the other SPI you're thinking of)

Not SLP, but SPI as in Sport Parts Inc., a Chinese Knock-Off company. Heck they even knocked-off the acronym for Straightline Performance Inc. I do not buy anything from the knock-off SPI/SPX.

Easier to explain with the link below to an existing topic. You can also Google Search spi knock off site:your favorite forum

Sport Parts Inc.
