Are you just running the baker drop brackets or his rear arm too? Maybe coupling the skid puts too much load on that point?

Thats exactly where the load is when coupling the skid, there should be a reinforcement brace ahead of the drop brackets. I have seen a couple Polaris tunnels buckle in the same place from coupling skids without bracing.
I'm pretty sure Ken at K mod insist on installing the braces when purchasing there skid.

I'm sure Baker will have a fix out for it soon if not already. After spending a bit of time on a G4 I'd say coupling that skid has the most potential to make the thing a monster. Really like what Cat has done with the lockout shock.

Darryl is already on making me some braces, he sold quite a few this year and mine is the only one with issues, like I said, probably just from my fat A$$. I've had a kmod in a nytro and a proclimb cat and Ken never mentioned Tunnel bracing. I guess lesson learned on this one.

Yeah its strange? I have seen quite a few G4's with Bakers skids on them and no issues? I already prepurchased one for my new 175 for next year. I hope it doesn't happen to just fat azzes or I may be in the same boat as you? Lol.

That happend to a guy down here in Newfoundland. He had stock skid. Dealer blamed it on it tunnel bag "being to heavy". He had he heavy duty bumper on his and only had a few thing in his bag.

He is over 300 pounds with gear. Bent it in the same spot as u. He just left his at the dealer cause they won't do anything. He only has 1100km on it. Blew 4 or 5 belts

Ouch, that's BS, shouldn't matter what a guy weighs, I was told the only reason I didn't get warranty was because of my aftermarket skid, his should be covered with stock parts. Fkn criminals. As much as I hate to say it, it turns out insurance was worth it for once.

That'll be a write off, maybe you can buy back cheap and brace it

I found the tunnel to be pretty tough.
Cartwheeled mine three times in spring snow and remarkably mostly straight.
Carry two of the new jerry cans stacked next o seat for long rides and still straight.

Not gonna try towing though.
