So, when you tuck it in between the bumper and tunnel, and you end up in a deep trench, does the flap prevent you from grabbing the handle?

That question is off limits!

Thats like asking how the parts in front of the flap will work in 18.
You would have to take it off to get at the bumper to lift.
But with spot on clutching you are not gonna get stuck.

Well if you get stuck, you could use the flap as a snow scoop.

Sweet! Does it come with a balancing offset in case it gets more snow on one side than the other?

I don't know him personally but I do believe snochuck owns an 850 that he payed a lot of his own money, so that gives him the right to say what ever he feels about it!

Me, I like doo's too, but I'm probably just a dick that was looking for a response from some of you doo'ers that had your hearts broken by the game changer! What is to gain, just a laugh! We have all read many posts about doo this, doo that and everything else is junk!

So you are a troll then. Hey get your licks in on the problem thread. There is no need to bash a guy for showing how new product works. Snow flaps have zero to do with bulkheads and belts. If you don't like what Norona is selling then do us all a favor and move along.

Some people choose to be negative and try to drag everyone else down to there level
In my opinion it is a poor way to live as this attitude rots you from the inside out but have at it Men
Bullying never earns you any friends
Dave Norona is doing his job and earning a living doing what he loves to do Who would not love to have this

Maybe thats why your sitting on the internet Dude

Maybe "dave" should get out there and actually test these ****ing ski doo 850's and solve the belt issues before they release them to the public. Instead of posting these stupid fuc king videos. Go blow a belt in 400km and come up with a solution with brp that actually fixes it.

In all fareness to Dave looks like he is only in marketing/PR.
Highly doubt he has anything to do with serious testing.

Don't blame the canary for singing to often cause it can only sing the tune it is paid to sing.

Exactly. Not everyone that rides a Doo for BRP is a test rider. He is an Ambassador like Stephanie Schwartz, Ashley Chaffin, Bret Rasmussen, Rob Alford and Jay Mentaberry. Nobody is bagging on them and should not be either.

Dave isn't an engineer but testing he has been doo-ing for awhile. The testing may be unofficial (he doesn't use the term) and he is designated as a backcountry expert (that of which he is, in more ways than people see on here). BRP/CKMP probably take his riding knowledge more than we know. Dave has recently stated he will be seeing a test model (with some of the changes that will probably be incorporated into the production run of the 2018's) shortly for some spring riding and he was one of the dudes who was running the 2017's well before they went to production. Remember, what BRP does to the final product is maybe anybodies guess and could be the quirk of a down east trail riding engineer.

If people rode the product for as many kms as Dave did, they would be happy to be on the snow that many days in a season.
