Hey Guys, I am so torn on my snowcheck this year. Is the turbo really worth that extra 3-4 grand from the N/A sleds. Coming off a 2019 154 3in 850. I will be getting a Expert 154 3in turbo or non. I ride Blue River mostly ride roughly 10+ days a year. Pretty advanced rider, used to help Digger guide in Blue River a few years. Help me out! Thanks

If you like to wheelie a turbo in a 154 will doo that for you. Sled pulls like a freight train. I am not disappointed in my purchase

I snow checked a 2022 expert turbo sold my 20 850 n/a, my theory with Doo stuff is it usually becomes pretty solid by there 3rd release. 2017 850 had its share of issues by 19 they were refined and bulletproof. With the 2020.5 turbo model coming out last year they have had it and the 21 to prove and iron out issues. To me the combo of stiffer adjustable rear shock and that limiter adjustment makes the expert worth while.

Once you ride one you will never go back and definitely appreciate it. I would suggest getting a 165 turbo expert as it will be as nimble and playful as your 154 with increased flotation on deeper days. The turbo will feel like your N/A 850 has an additional 30hp. Worth every penny and your smile will last all winter.

also agree with this, the 165 is a weapon compared to the 154 and way more playful than the old 165s without the short tunnel

The 2020.5 has been problem free, skidoo really nailed this sled, the engineering when you pop the hood is a work of art. The tune is flawless. Its not like when the 850 came out there was a bit of headaches, they are pull and go.

Put a order in on a 154t for the family, but upgraded it to a 165t yesterday, ski lift a concern..keep it as a backup for myself, but definitely will not be getting rid of the 75s for the steep/deep

With a good tune this sled can be close to 200hp and hopefully the expert will have good shocks for a variety of conditions, and riders

Hopefully the oil/fuel consumption has been rectified, not really into carrying 5 gallons of extra fuel, also hope the over rev is looked at from factory

i have 3500km on the 850T......im not so sure i want them fiddling around with the oil consumption....

Dealership I ordered threw had sold over 100, tslesds.. cut oil back on a certain amount and one motor failure out of all of them, it was not the reduced consumption sleds..

Said the one that went down was over heated 6 times, pretty good record..

My t850 burnt more oil so far this season than my alpha and highcountry did in two seasons prior. They definitely chug oil But hey First skidoo I never blew a belt on. Knock on wood
