Good evening. Just thinking??? Is there a way to hook up a battery charger so you can change the shot at home before you hit the road. Would be nice. We could pull start when new now broke in and my friend can not pull over. Hard for me. Love it.

Hook the + and - terminals up to your tongue, the human body is capable of creating 100milavolts. By the time you get to the hill, she’ll be ready to go.

better deal would be to use one of those portable booster packs?

Why would this be even thought of. I remember this question being asked on snowest.

Yes you can charge any capacitor, why would you, pull the cord and charge it with the engine.

He answered that in the first post. And others have had issues as well. Crazy hard to pull over

How big is your friend? He can muscle the fasted sled out there, but he can't start it?

The only thing i can suggest is keep the sled warm, they’re never easier when cold. I have heard some electric start nightmares on the G4 and with the crankshaft lightened and the gear removed on yours, that’s not an option anyways.

That would be slick, a plug in the rear tunnel area so you could steal power from the trucks trailer plug to charge the capacitor.

If a guy can’t pull over a sled I really question his ability to ride it... is this a joke? April fools already?

Man no one is jealous he wants to shred. Serious thing, you can’t pull your sled over I don’t think you should be riding it in the mountains. Unless he wants to putt around the cabin. Just asking for a bad day or a serious injury.

The Shot capacitor may operate at a different voltage than a typical battery. And even fully charged may not itself have the grunt for a cold motor.

You’re telling me, this thing can adjust timing and boost control but not put millivolts into a capacitor? Da****outtahere...

Nearly pulled my shoulder out the other morning not expecting the first pull to be so hard. Definitely harder than my 18. Perhaps consider standing on the side of the sled and using 2 hands for the first start. The Shot should have it for the rest of the day.
