Hello everyone. Figured since I just finished putting the doo race hood on my summit I’d post some pictures along with the part numbers. Since no ones really covered it. Ill start with the part numbers. Hood assembly-517307920 (x1), panel nut-250000958 (x3), hook for gauge mount-517306967 (x2), torx screw-250000577 (x8), hood slide in hook-517307050 (x4), intake hose-508001018 (x1), hose clamp-293650054 (x1), boot (aka stainless ring)-508001019 (x1), and the frogskinz vent covers-508001030, 508001043, 508001029, 508001042. Now I didn’t use the four hooks doo calls for (part number 517307050 because it was $200 for them) and just ended up making them out of plastic that I had at my shop. The swap is really easy and just bolts up. You will need to remove the top two hooks for the side panels and the mass air flow sensor and relocate it to the new hood. You will have to remove two rubber grommets from the bottom of the gauge cluster as the two aluminium hooks won’t fit with them in. I should also mention that it helps to rivet the two aluminum hooks to the hood. Hopefully this helps!!

Awe wish the pictures worked.
Try getting tap talk in the cell phone to post.

I am curious as to venting.

Noticed lots of pics aren’t showing up on Tapatalk the last week or so. Why is that?

I can’t see these pics either

Not sure why BRP couldn’t of included a Led headlight and a different gauge display. Halogen is pretty outdated beyond other notable reasons to go LED

Finally!! Got the pictures to upload properly. I agree they could shave a few pounds off by going to LED but I actually like the gauge on the Gen4 vs the XM/XP. I should also point out that I lost 30.5lbs with the hood, minor trimming, and a GGB mountain can.
