can someone shed some light to me on how the oxygen sensor placement will effect tune? i know that generally the closer you go to the outlet, the leaner it reads. Has anyone experimented with this on silber kits? Force turbos/turbo performance puts theirs pre turbo and silber puts theirs post turbo pre muffler on some kits and post muffler on their latest kits. Has anyone played with the location on a silber tune or otherwise to see how it effects it?

My AEM-uego gage instructions said to go 11 inches from the piston.
I talked with Dave Sebelius of Dave's performance

the guy who made the Aurora Fuel Reactor for turbo sleds, he txt me a picture showing his sensor in the "hairpin turn" of the pipe on the inside of the corner of the hairpin. His theory on putting it there, is, its less susceptible to oil contamination, thinking the oil in the exhaust has weight to it and a g-force and would tend to run away from the sensor.

The heat is hard on them pre-turbo and I've never seen it on an automobile application. Yes more oxygen reversion the closer to the outlet you go which may be a reason to go pre-turbo on a sled with short exhaust is to reduce that effect.. Also point it down or moisture collects and will corrode the sensor rather quickly.
