There were old tracks down low at the mine site but no sign of tracks past 1st hill

Road plowed to Lodge pass junction of Vermont. Alders mostly covered but not an issue getting in/out.

Made it into the Silver Mines and found pockets of 1-2 feet pow

Until you have to tow a dead sled across sand/gravel. That’s where the fun ends!!

Thanks for the info. Crazy low snow for that area for sure. We might take a chance and go camp for a couple day ride. How far did your buddy drive his vehicle? I’d help clear a path in June/July, but unfortunately I will be away

Anyone been to the Silver Mines in the past 2 weeks? Drive to location? Snow depth? Obviously avy conditions are high presently

I thought the Elk River and Blaeberry were closures as well as Kicking Horse? Anything upstream of Donald on the Columbia is closed? Any update?
