22 Boost Flooding and killing itself

Having the same problem with mine. Swapped out the BR9EA plugs with BR9EYA plugs, got rid of the Extreme Polaris oil, and put in the VES. Made it an entire ride without fouling plugs. Went to the dealer to investigate the problem, and have new injectors on the way.

Polaris 850 vs Alpha vs 850 doo on the hill

If you don't believe me, get these sleds on the hill and do the test yourself. My guess is that you will have similar results .

Polaris 850 vs Alpha vs 850 doo on the hill

I think that the Alpha's track is what kept it in the game. Very impressive for an 800 machine. The 850 with the 2.6 combination worked well. We didn't have a 3" 850 to test with. As far as riders go, I did ride the 850 Doo, , and the 850 Polaris. The alpha was ridden by a very capable rider...

Polaris 850 vs Alpha vs 850 doo on the hill

So finally got a chance to try these three sleds on the hill head to head. 2019 Polaris 850 with 163 2.6", Alpha with 165", and a 2018 Doo 850 with a 165 3". Fresh snow on the hill, each sled taking it own track up the hill. Very close between the Alpha and the Polaris, but sorry Doo guys, the...

850 with 10 hrs crank failure

The centre bearings on the crank failed. Plugged oil port is my guess due to excessive sealant between the cases.

850 with 10 hrs crank failure

5.2 kms from the truck! It wasn't revving past 7400, so we changed the plugs. Cleaned up and was a rocket for about 2 kms. Then it became a boat anchor. Oh well, new motor is on the shelf. They are easy to swap out, so should be up and running for the weekend.

850 with 10 hrs crank failure

It is a buddies sled, but I am pretty sure it was an early one. I was talking to the dealer about the crank issues a few days ago, and they said it was a problem with too much sealant between the cases that plug up some oil ports. It literally failed 2kms after the break in. Sled started running...

850 with 10 hrs crank failure

Goes in tomorrow, but my guess is the crank bearing failed. Just made it out of the break in and boom!

2013 pro with a eletrical issue HELP

Well wasn't the wiring harness, but it ended up being a rivet body in the stator. Guessing a rivet must have fallen into the stator when I rolled it over in the snow. I recently had the belly pan off, so there must have been an old rivet still in there.
