we have'nt been having very good luck with our sos saws that come in the shovel handle .and not being able to replace just the blade is expensive .tried a gerber folding saw with the same results. and the colder it is the easier they break ,not much for support up in the t part of the handle ...

we have 4 pro s that we ride with one 12 has broken the crank and a deto,the other 12 a broken piston skirt causing a broken rod = a complete new engine .one 13 has done in 3 drive belts and the other 13 has a broken driveshaft not great. i ride a 13 doo and it would not start when it got cold...
went in to wolverine on saturday .pretty messy in the creeks ,logs ,open water , water falls that we have not seen before .bad enough a couple of guys quit and went home early. seems like we are about 3 feet behind this year .
update from the dealer this morning , crank is shot ,inner bearing is piling up .any ideas about lack of lube in the crankcase? etec seems to run pretty small amounts of oil .or premix a bit .used to do it on the older ho series . do any good with direct injected ?
i agree with your thoughts on warm up and proper break in ,own a few pieces of equipment so a good state of repair is important .interesting thought ,the 09 the crank busted in the middle and the issue with the 11 is also not on the outer seals or bearings.

kind of wishing i was a younger sledder,spent a lot of days riding on or with v maxs, xlts, thundercats,wildcats,powder specials,storm and ultras can't forget the powder extreme what a boat .not more than 4 inches of suspension on any of them,and 600lbs was light. i am sure these beasts...
