I think the suggestion of not using an intercooler had something to do with the fact that the 66 series turbo had not come out yet and the 53 series had some limitations when partnered with the intercooler. I would be curious as to what Brad thinks as well.

I think you might be mistaken, I know Shane at HM Turbos and I am certain that his kit WITH the intercooler works. I think the relationship that he has with the guys at Aerocharger allowed him to build a well engineered kit that takes advantage of the Aerochargers spool up time and efficiency...
