Lol I guess I didn’t describe it good enough in my post…..maybe I nodded off again while posting. I liked the tech talk about their clutching and it really has me interested. What I was hoping to hear is the snowest crews ride experience regarding the throttle response and clutching.
It’s too...
Ya I was a little disappointed as they never said much about how the turbos they rode worked. Mostly just tech info which some of it was interesting….especially the clutching side. I expected more given that they had most of the winter to develope, test and tune and the Snowest guys rode it...
I was a little disappointed with that podcast because they never really said anything about the turbo they rode other than it was fun and didn’t notice any extra weight. Nothing about the throttle response or clutching. Might be a moot point though as in the podcast the ibexx guys said they just...
On a recent snowest podcast they were talking to another turbo company and the question was asked why choose their kit over the others. So I ask you….why choose your kit? I’m not trying to be a d*ck. I honestly do want to know because other than watching mavericks instagram I have no knowledge...
3000miles on my 19. Only issue was hit a stump and broke one of the sliders at about 1000miles. Rail was completely fine. Ripped 3 lugs off and tears in 2 others. No complaints about the rail. Can’t wait to get the Catalyst for next year
I get what you’re saying but how can they expect to be competitive in the mountain market when not offering the same class of power options than other manufacturers? Haters will say they don’t want to be competitive but the loyalist in me is hoping they’re just refining it to make it reliable...
In my opinion Cat doesn’t need a new engine or chassis......they both work awesome. I love my alpha but how could they not have a turbo alpha ready to go??? They are going to lose a lot of customers to Doo and Poo
4 stroke seats are higher and longer. Measured last year when comparing my sidewinder and mtn cat. 4 stroke/electric start seats won’t work cause the tank is different.
ya I’ll maybe look into this route. Can’t find any aftermarket seats. Too bad mountain mod quit making seats. Had those on my Apex and Nytro and they were awesome
Blessed with long legs......these cat seats are too short and too low for me. I’ve been on Yamaha’s for 10yrs so that’s my preference. Was looking for something constructive or if anyone knew of anything out there.........fastfarmer and skegpro good fun, director thanks and I’ll keep that in...
I bought an 18 and put about 1600miles on it this year. Also rode an 850 for 4 days. I had a blast on the 850.....no issues any day. Good power. Handled the bumps good. But I would take my mtn cat any day over the 850. Felt it was more predictable. Mileage was about the same between them. I...
I have an 18 Mtn Cat 162. I spent about 30min on the 165 and 20min on the 154 in Revy. It was super tracked where we were riding them. In the soft snow I didn’t think the alpha was any easier to lean over and sidehill than my mtn cat. However both alphas had really stiff front suspension and I...
