It’s all new gaskets just wasn’t sure if they needed to go down in a certain order since the two were different.

Thanks, finally figured out and had to file the dowel holes a little on the fix spacer.

The pistons are spinning free, but I’m having an issue getting the head on anymore than this. Any thoughts?

Awesome thank you! Out of the two o-rings on the oil pump and brass bushing, which would you replace with the smaller one?

So the motor was pulled out of this unit when I purchased it unfortunately. I didn’t have the benefit of seeing where certain things went for the most part. In the new O-ring and gasket set I found three O-rings that I need help locating where. Two larger, same size ones and one smaller thinner...

Correct the crank is still outside. Will the cross shaft then have a little play after I tap it out a bit? OK so I gave it a light tap from the impeller side and it broke it free a little bit. Maybe a 16th of an inch

So I’ve got the cross shaft oil seal in and installed the mechanical seal with the seal driver tool required. I had the oil pump side on a block of wood with out the pump on so it wouldn’t get damaged. The shaft spins but is a lot harder to spin than when I took it apart. Is that normal? Also is...

Ok. So I’ve ordered a new seal and also the seal driver tool. If I install the oil seal insert the cross shaft and oil pump back on then use the seal driver tool it install the mechanical seal will the oil pump be strong enough to hold the shaft in place?

So I got that brass bushing back in with the screw in it, I installed the oil seal then I put in the mechanical seal, and then when I tried to get the water pump shaft through the mechanical seal, it was a tight fit, appeared to be pushing the mechanical seal too far, I took the shaft back out...

When you apply ultra gray do you torque to spec right away? Or finger tight let sit for an hour then torque to spec?

Which gasket material should I use for the cases? I’ve heard permatex motoseal ultimate grey rtv gasket maker might not get thin enough. Should I use Three Bond 1211?

Is there any trick to getting that bushing lined up for that screw to go back in upon assembly?

Does anybody know how to get this exhaust bellow off so I can correctly clean my power valves? I’m assuming the hex end must just thread off?

Does anyone know if/how this brass bushing comes out the case?

ok thank you. I will pull them out for the weld. Have you welded cases before? Also I’m having a hard time getting the oil/water gear shaft out. I believe it would come out the water pump side once I get the seal off/out. I just can’t get the seal to move.
