    New truck for towing

We have a 24 gm with the 6.6l gas and allison trans. Its a step ahead with the allison in it but Its a gas guzzler and has us wishing it was a diesel every time we tow. The price difference is more like 20k to step into a diesel now which is why we bought gas. Your resale value is far better...

Ice age elevate spindles on G5

g5 is not as bad as the g4 but i find the sled bump steers and darts. Not as much in deep snow but definitely in set up snow.

    Expert vs freeride

I ride a 23 154 freeride, buddy rides a 23 expert 165. I have ridden his expert quite a bit and its easier in the trees and the tight stuff. I think i would go 165 next time. Its still just as fun but it is more controllable with the skis in the air. Definitely climbs better and flatter. I...

    BLUE RIVER 2023-2024

Rode paradise last thursday and the snow is very low, I had a hard time recognizing the trail after about 15 km from town. Lots of willows and obstacles. After about 8 tries we made it up the chute and broke into some beautiful untouched ground. Worked hard for it burnt all our gas and froze...

    Muskoka Freerider

I cringed several times on that last video. Caleb is lucky he is not hurt. I guess these guys do this for a living and this kind of footage is what keeps it exciting for viewers. But jjeesh don't try this stuff at home kids you will be crippled and broke! I honestly do not think they are...

    Track Ratcheting

It sure looks like it could be done, I don't think the rounded edge would effect braking. But yes they are quite round from new. I have not heard of anyone doing it though.

    Track Ratcheting

The avid drivers make a difference. I have the 6 tooth avids and can run the track looser, doesnt ratchet and runs quieter.. Some guys are getting away with 7 tooth avids and their ratcheting days are definitely over. Lift your sled up and try turn the track with it factory tight, it takes...

    '23 Summit belt storage

Yes I have seen this new box. from what I’ve read on the sno west forum it fits the battery and allows the belt but then no spot for the tool kit. PN 860202668

    '23 Summit belt storage

For guys with the big screen…. I too thought there was lack of accessible storage on the gen 5. Belt, tow rope and tool storage etc needs to be quickly accessible in my opinion so the factory rear seat box was not an option. Didn’t have to modify anything really, removed the battery foam and...
