Hi! I’m getting a new F350 with an 8 foot aluminum box so not sure the best way to mount my Marlon 8 foot sled deck? In the past I’ve drilled holes through and bolted, just not sure if this is ok with the aluminum box? Also I may not be keeping this truck more than 4 or 5 months so could I...
So the scissor inverted again even after tightening the track…. Even talked to a dealer who said the main shock should keep this from happening. Checked it and shock and bushings all look fine. No other stops are visible that would keep it from getting inverted. Second pic is normal for...
My buddies Lynx rear suspension scissors keep inverting ("grasshopper" legs scissor on either side normally pointing backwards) flip to pointing to front when picking up sled by rear bumper and suspension fully extends. We tightened track up on the hill and it still happened. Any ideas or...
Thanks Randy for starting a great thread! I had an extremely close call in 2021 Turbo Freeride getting mousetrapped going up to help my son, Ty, get unstuck. Been riding Turbos for years but it got more steep than planned VERY quickly! Next thing I was flat on my back with handlebars of sled...
Spring riding getting you hot? Just cool your tunnel with a “custom colour matched” tunnel cooler! Just fill up milk crate with snow, tip it over onto black t-shirt (to protect tunnel), snow melts and helps keep sled running cool on icy trails. It worked well!
By stopping with the Turbo tipped slightly on its left, the turbo venting becomes a perfect helmet heater and goggle defroster when taking a break. Almost worth it for the nice toasty helmet, never mind the miles of smiles!
Love my Doo Turbo’s! Here’s a vid from my ‘21 Freeride Turbo. Real fun sled! I do like my ‘22 T175 Expert for exploring and in deeper snow better (yes, I am an old guy now and can prove it by the reading glasses in my handlebar bag! Haha!). The 34” front end makes it real easy to throw...
When I first rode my buddy's 2020.5 turbo it handled horribly in technical terrain to the point where I was wondering if I wanted one? Then we adjusted the rear suspension tightening up the front track shock. It made a world of a difference in handling. Now I own two Doo turbo's... would have...
Just tried out the heated gloves and heated socks from Costco today. Amazing! Such good value at $100 for socks and $149 for full leather gloves both heated with three settings. We were at -14C up top and had toasty toes and fingers for a good 4-5 hours.
I had the previous version, the Tobe Vivid boots, and they were the best boot I've had in 29 years of mountain riding. I'm sure you'll love them. Tobe's warranty is WAY better than Klim's since Klim was bought by Polaris
