I have an older Rino120, but am thinking of upgrading to a newer Rino. I would definitely buy it from the U.S, though, as you'll get the 5W one, instead of the "CRTC" controlled 3W one! The more power, the better!

I say leave it in Edm. You Calgary area guys are way closer to the hills than we are. Isn't that enough for you? Lol!

Yes, it is plowed. We were in Oasis last Thursday. Am I reading the bottom of the update incorrectly? Are you supposed to drive in to the trailhead with a truck, trailer, and radio, then unload at the side of the road?
In regard to the radios, do the Garmin Rinos have the required channels?
I was in Oasis today, there was about 6" of fresh, no more. We could only play in the first bowl, as it was too socked in to drop into the 2nd. You couldn't see 40' in front of you, from up on the ridge. First bowl was ok, though.
It is unfortunate the RCMP don't set up sting operations, but my previous experience with insured vehicles is they seem to be a low priority when it comes to police work. A few years back, my wife's car was backed into in our condo parking lot, there was only one set of dually tracks shown in...
I believe in order to register any vehicle, you need proof of insurance. Anyway, my point was liability insurance does a lot more for you than registration. I do carry my insurance card on my quad, and sled for proof of liability.
Are snowmobiles supposed to be registered? I've got liability/fire/theft insurance on mine, but didn't think I needed to register it. The registration really does nothing for you, as it is not used on roads?! Is it something that is checked out regularly in Valemount?
Nice pics, Curtis!
