I am sorry... but I can relate to that "dumbass". When you can't get a straight answer from cops/COs, or the online shooting community, what are we left with? Best guesses and "Hope" really. The CO that gave us a hard time for shooting at MacLean Creek refused to suggest an alternative...

This is where I shoot now, when I am in Calgary.... I have a friend less than an hour away where I can shoot. I was looking for something similar on our way through BC. I'm truly surprised it's so difficult..... Anyway thank you for an actual suggestion.... *appreciated*

I find it funny that you were oddly unhelpful. Your suggestion was "check the internet" lol (which BTW is exactly what I am doing). I am asking people who are known to be outdoors type people, who talk about guns regularly, and somehow I am the bad guy? Uh huh... I see. It was a legit...

Oh... for sure. I just re-registered my truck, but gave pause when considering the sleds.... $54 each (x2) and I may not even get to take them out again. Makes me sad. We'll see if we have a late winter.
