    Ultrasonic cleaners

Mine is a Shzond brand 6L. Don't think it's even available anymore, but it looks like the other cheap import units on Amazon. It's held up well and the size works well for single carbs. For rack carbs or other components, a larger tank would be better. I believe the largest thing I've cleaned in...

    Ultrasonic cleaners

I got one over a year ago. Cheap generic one off Amazon. I use it almost every day. Two things. Make sure you get one big enough for what you want to clean and use a good solution. Lots of cleaners will work, but many will react with the aluminum in carbs. I use cleaner specific for this...

    Yamaha grizzly axles

I put Eastlake axles on my plow quad. Seem to be well made and are holding up well so far. I've also purchased bearing kits from all balls, quality products.

Formula Z 583, what year is mine? Pics.

Prototype doesn't seem likely since the Formula Z in that chassis had been around for quite awhile already. Nothing new to prototype.

Formula Z 583, what year is mine? Pics.

First group of numbers contains the model number. Yours does not. My guess would be tunnel replacement.

Formula Z 583, what year is mine? Pics.

Those are definitely 99 graphics but the VIN is a bit of a mystery. A 1999 Formula z 583 should be a 1391 or 1392 model number, but yours is stamped all zeros( first group of digits should be the model number). Very curious.

    Sled Lift building?

I haven't used mine on any sleds with a 16" track as I work on primarily old iron. The lift points do seem like they may be a little narrow for a wider tunnel, but setting them out farther may be problematic for fitting through the skies. You could just alter the rear tip up lift points to have...

    Hand signals.

I used to use the hand signals while snowmobiling, seemed like a good idea. Then I had my son in for snowmobile safety class and asked the instructor knowing what the answer would be. I was wrong. He said it's always a bad idea to take a hand off the bars and it serves no good purpose. The...

    96 f111 triple 600

Mines right around 135 across the board. Yours sounds on the low side and that's a pretty good spread.

    98 MXZ 583 clutch issues

Stock clutch engagement is 4400 rpm for that sled. Sounds like your secondary spring is getting weak.

Old sled pricing, am I out to lunch?

Not sure on pricing north of the border, but for around my neck of the woods your prices sound very fair. I know sleds are not selling well around here, but we're having a horrible year.

    Oil injection oil

I use Mystik full synthetic jt4 snowmobile oil. It's around $22 per gallon. Been using it for quite awhile, no problems.

Warranty denied because of aftermarket can.

No way to know until you open it up. I've seen sleds that have been run out of oil that only needed a top end. Depends on alot of things. Tear it down and see what you've got. Post pictures and ask questions as needed.

    First machine for my son.

Started my son at 13 with a Sportsman 500. He did/does well with it and he won't grow out of it, at least not until he can buy his own.
