If it is going on a Yamaha, go to Yamaha and get their new plow a Tric, its new last year and front mounted. Quick on and of. I have one on my Grizzly 550 and it works great and mounting bracket is not below the skid plate.

I take off the a-arm plates, the snow and ice I can remove a lot better that way

I have a Grizzly 550 and just love the power and the size. Bought it in Dec 29 08 and have 2039Km and 156 hrs, it has ran nice all the time. I put mudlite 26" on it and get a lot more grip, lot less wheel slip than stock tires
