Re: S & M Courier Service
Hey all. I’m trying to buy a Dewalt trimmer/blower combo from Home Depot but they’re sold out everywhere around Edmonton and don’t sell it online but there are lots in stock in stores around Calgary/Airdrie. If anyone is heading to Edmonton and would be willing to...
Cleared 3 good size trees on our trails today. Just keeps getting wetter and wetter on the trails and enough impassible spots for my sons 90cc 2wd that I have to tow him through that it's just annoying to have him out riding. Lots more old deck boards to bring out to improve the trails for the...
Another storm rolling through Brazeau county tonight and through most of tomorrow. Not gonna stop me and the boy from getting a good ride in and doing some more of the trail clean up we couldn't finish last time our. Hopefully the rest of the province starts getting its share of this rain and...
Working in a steel mill is 12 hour shifts on concrete standing or walking most of the time. Very limited with boot selection as we need metatarsal guards but red wings have always worked well for me and the newer KingToe they have is great for wider feet. I use the Costco insoles but under some...
Yeah i know it can be done with a homemade kit but this was well worth it for me to get the piece of mind knowing I won't suck any water into the engine. Two weeks off to start August so more riding coming in the near future. We usually spend most our time around Drayton but I'll have to try...
Picked up my new HD RacerTech tie rods, some red loctite and some goop. I knew the new tie rods were bigger but I'm surprised at how much bigger they are compared to the oem ones.
When you say you sealed your USB port with goop are you just sealing it to the dash or using the goop over the...
Found a kit at the UTV Canada garage sale this year but even though they said it would work for my commander max it didn't. Going back on shift work this spring didn't leave me with much time so I brought it to Absolute Powersports and he did a good job modifying it to get it installed right.
It's crazy how different the weather has been. Trails up by Drayton Valley have new water holes and puddles where I've never seen them before from the huge amounts of rain and the big holes from past years are just scary now. Put snorkels on this year because of the wet conditions.
Just switched over to Dalton earlier this year and saved a lot on vehicles and on the commander compared to Johnson as they're all on one auto plan. Trailer is insured through them but a different provider.
Yeah I've been thinking this for a couple years now but with the other moves they've made with the defender and x3 I get why it was pushed to the back burner. They're still a very capable machine but need a few upgrades to maximize their potential.
My commander Max has been a great family ride. I have spent a lot on it to improve the performance for when it's not being used as a family ride but I definitely enjoy having the storage as we like to throw the zodiac in the back and head out for a day of riding and fishing in some spots that...
Zip ties have worked well to stitch up broken plastics for me.
Pulled the trigger on a new set of RT tie rods today through Rapid. I knew I should've upgraded them sooner and it ended up costing me a day of riding broken down on the side of Baldy mountain.
Built a little bridge over a bad mud hole for my sons quad to get across and then we cleaned up a whole bunch of downed trees. Ran out of time and was getting eaten alive last night out in the bush so we will pick up where we left off next ride. Came across a big tree that's going to be a pita...
