Do 3 or 4 cars. Stay away from the packages. Start with a cheaper car for 10 or 15 laps so you can learn the track. Then progressively upgrade from there. 10 laps is ideal as I find it takes 3 or 4 to learn the car. My favorite (and fastest) to date was the Ferrari Pista.
