    raptor ace

We had quite a few guys running low boost kits last year that liked having the ability to lock out the t-motion on our Ace kit. The main difference between our Ace and the dedicated turbo setups is that we are not coupled on the Ace. Depending on your riding style, coupling may not be a...

    Cmxbk

We do build the monotube shocks CMX is using in their kits. Those shocks are tuned to their specs. We're working on some piggybacks for some of the other kits this winter. We started on them last year for TS but never got to finish development with the crappy conditions and being busy getting...

    Cmxbk

To expand on the tuning of the forks from earlier: What we found when running the TS single ski was that it was so aggressive in the crusty snow and hardpack that it felt like having the brake on about 30%. Always felt like the bike was diving and we were determined we needed more spring in...

Ducati is right about the SFF forks. We don't say that they will work but we haven't tested them yet to determine that for certain. Our X2 Dual Ski kits have not been tested on them yet for a couple of reasons: a)We hear that the SFF forks are not good in the cold. b)As far as bikes for...

Skidoo XM raptor shock setup thread

Great questions Duffmannt! First off, we did the development testing ourselves last winter so we don't have a bunch of rider feedback other than our own yet but that is going to change quickly with the great snow conditions being seen all over. That being said, we found that the the coilover...

    Raptor Shocks Releases XM-ACE!

New rear shock in the XM-ACE kit is very different from our standard replacement shock because it is setup and tuned for our spring and setup vs. the torsion spring. You need the whole kit.

Raptor Shocks Releases X2 Dual Ski Snow Bike Suspension!

“When I started at Polaris Industries in 1997 one of the first projects that I ever worked on was a snow bike,” says Jake Anderson, owner of Raptor Performance Shocks. “At that time, we used one wide ski and several different configurations. None of which really met expectations” You can read...

    Raptor Shocks Releases XM-ACE!

Thanks for the questions and feedback! The switchover process is something we discussed at great length during development. Our decision was driven by a couple of factors; one was feedback from riders we talked to, and the second was that we felt like the added cost was not something that we...

    Raptor Shocks Releases XM-ACE!

Yes. Kit includes a new 4130 Chrome Moly torque arm, billet pivot, billet pullrod, billet lower shock mount and coilover rear shock with all necessary hardware.

    Raptor Shocks Releases XM-ACE!

Almost everything we do is about billet aluminum machining, so it's tough for us to get excited about welded 4130 Chrome Moly parts... ...BUT these TIG welded rear torque arms from the new XM-ACE kits are second to none!

    Raptor Shocks Releases XM-ACE!

That's not an option we discussed much but the setup is pretty custom to the shock we are using so it would likely require a custom shock from any other manufacturer as well. Maybe the better question is when can we talk to get you selling Raptor Shocks? :)

    Raptor Shocks Releases XM-ACE!

Thanks for the feedback! We rented a few sleds and flogged the bejeezus out of them during our development trips. We clocked many endurance miles and saw no issues with it at all. It doesn't make contact as often as one might think.
