Right around 3lbs heavier than stock brp track. Decent track and hooks up well when the snow is a couple days old. On a good powder day the stock track out performs it. In fresh snow it trenches more. I went back to the stock brp track and keeping the M770R for a spare.
Exactly how I ended with the p85 from redline. The clutching that came with my turbo kit wasn't good at all. In saying that just bolting on the p85 didn't make it perfect either. For the helix that I was running, It required different springs. Several different options now for a good pdrive setup.
Over 2000kms on my boosted 850 5lbs. Mostly tree bashing. 0 issues with the p85. Pull apart and clean both clutches at beginning of every season. Was going to weigh them but put it back on before I thought about it again. But I can't tell u the doo clutch is much heaver.
Polaris still haven't done the stock short tunnel yet so it probably gonna be 2 to 3 years out on the factory turbo. chris branch choppin them off 5 or 6 outta time and selling the cut ends back to polaris.
Bought this composite M770R at the EDM sled show last year from royal distributing. Put 900km on it and noticed this at 4 different lugs. The cracking is at the base of and on the back side of the lugs. Sent pics to royal, they sent it off to composite which denied the claim for now. Lol...
Best day on the silber 850 so far! I changed the intake to a shorter run with a 2.5" to 3" 90* silicone hose and a short 3" x 4" long aluminum pipe. Got an BD intake adapter and used a 3" x 4" long flex hose to connect it together. Night and day difference! I had a little bog down low that's...
was just wondering what boost u were running at the time u did a comparison to the stock 850 turbo. I would presume u must have been running 8+ lbs to run the 7t drivers.
I wouldn't expect the 850 stock turbo to b in the same class when it comes to power. How was the bottom end...
Composite M770R review.
Just spent 4 cold days in sicamous but was well worth it, Snow was deeeep. Most snow I've seen in a while. Overall the track performed very well. Didn't trench and got on top of the snow well. IMO it is just as good as the stock track in the riding conditions we had...
I ran 5 lbs last season. Tried 7 very briefly but was over revving. Running a p85 clutch and didnt have heavy enough adj clutch weights for 7. Got new weights this year so we'll c how 7 is.
Really didnt have any deep stuff to hold it wide open for extended times on last years trips. Maybe 30...
Haven't been out yet this year but headed to sicamous on Sunday for 5 days. I had a slight bog/stutter last season but only at very slow speed at a constant throttle. I did find a cracked reed so not sure if that had anything to do with it or not. We'll c shortly I guess.
Mine runs like garbage...
I had mine reflashed back in October as well. Thats the latest one that I know. I asked cory at the time what it addressed. he did mention a lean spot in one of the tables. Didn't elaborate any further and may not have anything to do with Fred's situation. Also would like to know if it was...
