We went up the Hurley today - took the Face creek turnoff. The trail up was in pretty rough shape, there was lots of bare ground and ice. There are bridges across all of the creeks. Once up top the snow wasn't too bad. There was 6-12" of snow, but visibility wasn't great and it was windy up top.

Snow was great up on the icecap on Tuesday! The road needed grooming really badly, but I hear they are supposed to start grooming it today (Jan 22). It's supposed to warm up like crazy this weekend, freezing level goes up above almost everything. David

There wasn't enough snow for us to find a way up into the high alpine. :( We ended up taking the Hurley to Sally's Pub @ Bralorne and going for a beer - apparently we were the first sledders of the season there...

Any update on the Hurley Area from this past week? I know that it's been raining at Goldbridge from the webcams, but hoping that some of the higher areas closer to Pemberton (Noel Creek or Hope Creek) got some snow I really want to get out there this weekend!

    Brandywine ?

Went up Brandywine today. I just played around in brandywine meadows (playland?), but there were lots of tracks up S-Chute. They were NOT charging trail fees. The road must have been groomed last night. There are still lots of holes / creeks in the meadows.

I'm in the same boat as you guys, bought my sled today! A 2013 Summit XM! :d. I'm a very strong skiier and have taken the avi course and have all the gear... I'm also quite new to sleds. I went a few times last year and am looking to ride as much as possible this year. I live in Vancouver...
