Anyone use a van as their hauler?

Looked at a flat deck for the dooley yesterday, all aluminum, 9' long, around 7500. The question is sled deck or flat deck? The flat is lower, has build in boxes under the deck, but I would have to do something for an aux. fuel tank. Anyone done this?

Is there an option for a different throttle set up on a sled, can a person go to twist or a finger pull instead of the thumb? Need options for someone with messed up hands that wants to get back into riding
