The coquihala which connects the interior to vancouver has been shut down 4-7 times in the last week and a half.It has snowed approx 9ft and highway crews cant keep up,Thats your update.
Well it is good but its not hunters/owls head though.
I have been a member at hunters a few years and not my own local kelowna club....I know i know my bad...But its deffinately better north.
Dont get me wrong geystokes/big white/christian valley can be epic some days.
What Lund said is exactly right.You access the white house and uncle toms from east side of mountain/cross country ski area(just make sure you dont go on there trails)
It is a vast area ,so track yourself and keep eye on fuel.Really good tree riding in some areas.Stay away from the backside of...
Yep could almost piss blood by the time your in/out for the day but if your first in after a freshy it doesnt compare.I definately
dont think its quicker way in though.We had full pulls to get over a few areas the other day.
Its not kingfisher,it's Laforge,and Yes these are the steeper alpine areas of hunters range/owls head/mara mt. These would have a higher probability of slides,but yeah all places can slide.The day chalet area(watershed rd) is the mellow way in ,it's still nice and has some decent tree...
And or it will let a few bearings fly into your head cause a little havok.Might squeek you for a little bit ,but with a little muscle you'll be able to get it pulled over and ride around for another 30-50 k and back to the truck,but it wont wanna stay idling or go into reverse,AT least this is...
